Job Details
Provide event support, planning, and logistics for performing arts events within UNCW’s Office of the Arts. This position also coordinates community engagement for the Office of the Arts, including residency activities with the local arts and civic community, both on campus and throughout Wilmington. Understanding that the expertise level of artists and their agents varies, the Program Assistant is capable of being flexible with support and processes; and able to change their role, depending on the needs of artists and community partners. The position provides consultation and recommendations related to programming for UNCW Presents and the Lumina Festival. The Program Assistant also supports the Arts Programming and Engagement Director in community engagement activities in the arts through assistance with grant writing and grant administration.
