The University of Southern Maine seeks applicants for the part time, temporary position of Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach on the Gorham Campus.

Core Duties:

  • Assist the Head Coach in practice duties as assigned.
  • Assist the Head Coach in the identification and recruitment of potential USM Student Athletes prior, during, and post season.
  • Travel with the team to away contests.
  • Assist with program fundraising initiatives.
  • Supervise student athletes as required.
  • Assist Head Coach with other lacrosse related duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to and support all rules, conditions, and regulations of USM and the NCAA.

Practices are varied and are currently held primarily in the evening and on weekends.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • High school playing experience required.
  • Collegiate playing experience preferred.
  • Previous coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level preferred

Compensation: $2300.00/season
