Position Summary

SHIFT: Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM

 

Prepare surfaces for painting, paint interior and exterior of buildings, and perform drywall repair/replacement using a wide variety of equipment. Create color samples to determine proper matching of colors and mix paints per paint codes. Finish surfaces using sandpaper, pumice, wax and other materials.

Qualifications

Required Education:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Education:Trade school education.Required Experience:5+ years Four years as a skilled painter.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:The ability to work effectively in an environment subject to frequently changing priorities, and work outdoors in inclement weather and to physically cope with extreme weather conditions. The ability to follow through and carry out assignments, using problem solving skills and sound judgment. The ability to lift large, heavy (50-100 lbs.) and bulky items, stand, bend, stoop and lift for long periods of time, climb a 20-foot ladder, and work in confined areas.
