Position SummaryIn collaboration with the Director of Scheduling Management, the incumbent is responsible for creating and executing the strategic and tactical scheduling plans for all students. Collaborate with faculty, division heads, and department chairpersons to identify and/or address their specific needs regarding time, frequency, and required room attributes for courses. Consult with faculty to assess needs for space for classes, clinic hours, lectures, seminars, examinations and all other assignment specifications related to academic programming for students. Build strong relationships with faculty and make independent judgments about priorities and protocols. Analyze spatial needs for courses and availability of facilities, students, and faculty to create an academic schedule and individual student schedules for classes and clinics. Assist in delivering optimal annual schedules for multiple academic programs that run on different tracks and academic calendars.  Analyze reports regarding space usage for academic programs and opportunities for availability of space for other uses. Analyze data and academic year outcomes to make recommendations for future planning.Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's degree Required Experience:2 years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience with data collection and analysis and customizing database applications.Preferred Experience:Previous experience administering activities in academic scheduling, enrollment services, or student affairs strongly preferred.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of database and spreadsheet applications. Basic knowledge of clinical and/or dental education practices.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Familiarity with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), G Suite, Box (or an equivalent cloud storage application), and Slack. Experience with Aurora scheduling software, EMS room scheduling software, and axiUm electronic health record software or equivalent applications.
