General Description / Primary Purpose

The successful candidate is expected to teach in the undergraduate Exercise Science Program. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to mentor students, participate in university, community, and professional service, and provide exceptional instruction associated with student learning success. Summer assignments are subject to the faculty collective bargaining agreement.

Qualified candidates must have an earned Master’s degree in Exercise Science (or related field) from a regionally accredited institution prior to the starting date.

Departmental Requirements

Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in exercise physiology laboratory methods, physical fitness assessment, functional anatomy, medical terminology, and strength and conditioning. American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and other related certifications as well as experience working with diverse active populations are preferred.
