Outreach Development Specialist
The PACE Outreach Development Specialist will primarily be responsible for portfolio management of PACE. This will include developing relationships, partnerships, lead generation, and/or lead conversation with businesses, community agencies, and K-12 schools.
Develops relationships with influencers (ie. public, private and specialty schools, district transition coordinators, special education directors, competitors’ recruiters, independent education consultants, disability service organization, deans, associate deans, faculty and/or transfer coordinators, etc.) in order to secure prospective student inquiries
Participates in events such as community college table visits, offsite information sessions, fairs, and networking events with the purpose of establishing lead generating contacts
Effectively manages a portfolio to generate leads or to convert leads
Proactively identifies new opportunities for growth.
Actively recruits students using program information sessions, classroom presentations, and counselor presentations.
Produces activity reports on a weekly basis. Submits generated inquiries within one business day.
Assists Executive Director in developing and managing program PR opportunities and marketing collateral including but not limited to NLU PACEwebsite and printed materials.
Works to define and prioritize goals and results which enhance start initiatives.
Works on additional tasks as assigned
Bachelors degree required, Master’s degree in Special education, Social Work, School Psychology or related fields preferred.
2-3 years related experience in higher education
2-3 years experience with persons with disabilities and families
Sales and/or marketing experience preferred
Frequent Local travel
