Stage Door Supervisor

Stage Door Supervisors provide security for the primary backstage entrances of the Majestic and Paramount Theaters and serve as a source of information for artists, technicians, and theater guests. This position also accepts messages and deliveries, and assists in the event of an emergency evacuation. Stage Door Supervisors provide a pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable face to newcomers to the theater. They will work quickly and efficiently during periods of high traffic and will remain attentive during quiet times. Hours listed below are a potential average. Hours can vary week to week based on employee's schedule and available work.


  • Must be able to interact pleasantly with others during times of high stress.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently in high pressure, time-critical endeavors.
  • Must be willing to ask questions, be open to new experiences, and to learn from others.
  • Must possess enthusiasm for the work and the ability to stick with it even under tedious or boring circumstances.
  • Job commitment, reliability, and timeliness are required.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods.


Grade of Position: T01N40

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20.00

Hiring Range: $6.62 - $6.94
