Responsible for providing support to HACC and the HACC Foundation by maintaining The Raiser’s Edge donor database, writing customized queries and reports in Crystal Reports, and ensuring data integrity. This position will work closely with both fundraising and finance staff to support the activities of HACC and the HACC Foundation.

Essential Job Functions

Operates a computer to create department reports and develop, oversee, and complete projects.

Communicates via email, phone, and in person to provide troubleshooting and support.

Works independently to develop programs to accomplish necessary objectives.

Develops, enhances and sustains procedures, processes and systems, including checklists and forms.

Job Specific Task List

• Coordinates the data analytics and benchmarking research activities

• Develops and implements approved strategies to enhance the donor data in support of donor identification, research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship

• Establishes and produces reports that inform and guide fundraising strategies

• Uploads new prospect and donor records into the donor database and appends new and updated data to existing records from a variety of sources

• Oversees data hygiene practices, including, but not limited to, National change of address (NCOA), demographic and constituent contact updates as well as file de-duping

• Prepares qualified constituent lists and generates necessary queries and lists for multiple uses, including presentations, mailings, publications and donor interactions

• Assists in the regular production of fundraising and financial reports; dashboards; data extracts; and monthly and year- end revenue reconciliation and audit requests

• Serves as the liaison with College technical support and review requests for assistance

• Updates and maintains policy manual and documentation on procedures for use of The Raiser’s Edge and The Financial Edge

• Collaborate on trouble-shooting and resolving data-related issues

• Provide back-up support for processing gifts

• Handles other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing RequirementsPhysical Requirements

Positions in this class typically require: grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Qualifications: Preferred Experience

Experience with The Raiser’s Edge, the Financial Edge and/or MS Access.
