The Department of Radiology at UNC-CH is seeking a Chief Informatics Officer to enhance our departmental analytics and informatics proficiency. The position will work closely with our Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO).

Educational Requirements

Masters’ and 2-4 years’ experience or Bachelors and 3-5 years’ experience Or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution; Prefer Doctorate in Health Administration; Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) required; All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Qualifications and Experience

-Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Radiology/Imaging operations and analytics
-Demonstrated knowledge of EPIC
-Demonstrated knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) architecture
-Demonstrated knowledge/proficiency with Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and/or other data analysis tools
