Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some evening and weekend work during peak periods.

The Recruiting Coordinator is housed in the Career Development Office (CDO) in the Jones Graduate School of Business. This position supports campus recruiting activities (including job postings, interviews, information sessions, career fairs), working closely with recruiters, students and staff. The Recruiting Coordinator provides guidance to recruiters on best practices to gain exposure to students (full time and professionals), as well as students on opportunities available. This position manages and maintains the 12Twenty online database, and provides office support by helping answer the CDO main phone line, greeting visitors and managing CDO email.

Internal / External Contacts

High level of interaction with full time and evening Rice Business students. Interacts with alumni, faculty and staff on various recruiting events. High interaction with corporate recruiting partners at multiple levels of the organizations. Must maintain the highest level of customer service with all parties.

Physical Demands

Requires working at a computer for up to eight hours per day.

Working Conditions

- Very busy open office environment with high traffic volume
- Some early morning, evening and weekend commitments
- Occasional travel required (typically twice a year at most)
