Shift

Office Hours: 7:30-3:30 Monday – Friday
7:30-10:30 AM Saturday
8:30-11:30 AM Sunday
Preferred Shift: Mornings
No evenings, some weekends.
8 – 20 hours per week.

Job Summary

Answer phone and door, process mail(incoming and outgoing), schedule volunteers, fill in for missing readers and control board operators as needed, edit audio programs before broadcast, upload podcasts, download remotely read programs, deliver listening equipment.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Strong organization skills, good Communication skills, and to empathize with blind & print-disabled persons who need help to access printed materials, access to transportation, professional phone manners.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience

Scheduling, volunteer management, and able to pass audition.
