Job Summary

The Office of Research Integrity (ORI) supports the University of Kentucky by promoting ethical conduct of human research and educating UK student and employees regarding research misconduct, regulations, and data ownership. The Office of Research Information Services (RIS) supports the computing, networking, and communications infrastructure for the Vice President for Research area. Together, ORI and RIS are seeking an Instructional Designer. The Instructional Designer will create online training courses, e-learning, video tutorials, and learning simulation required by the Office of Research Integrity. This position will be responsible for managing & implementing course/program design, development, delivery, training, implementation, and assessment/evaluation for online training modules. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with Research Information Services to evaluate and implement instructional technology and to ensure compliance with Research computing software and security requirements.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The qualified candidate will be able to communicate effectively, interact with campus staff and faculty, and have experience managing multiple projects while prioritizing work in a deadline-driven environment.
