Executive Director Of Development, UCI Health


Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Health Advancement, the Executive Director of Development, UCI Health will develop strategic direction for major gift and principal gift fundraising for UCI Health that will contribute to Health Advancement?s overall goals. This will be achieved through the Executive Director focusing on securing private philanthropic support and active management of major gift officers (6 direct reports) through monthly portfolio reviews, pipeline management, annual goal setting and performance review process. The Executive Director will ensure that major gift officer direct reports are making progress toward their annual goals. The Executive Director will manage priority UCI Campaign initiatives and will be expected to provide strategic and philanthropic support for the success of UCI and UCI Health. The Executive Director of Development, UCI Health will be personally responsible for managing a portfolio of major and principal gift donors. Furthermore, the Executive Director of Development will be held accountable for securing significant philanthropic support for the UCI Health System and the newly established Henry and Susan Samueli College of Health Sciences. Additionally, this position will inform, seek advice and counsel, and facilitate discussions with the Associate Vice Chancellor for UCI Health Advancement, and Health and University Advancement leadership regularly to develop agreed-upon strategies and action steps to meet goals. The Executive Director?s effectiveness will be evaluated on the ability to achieve financial goals and meet metrics.
