Under general supervision, the Postpartum RN identifies and implements nursing interventions and evaluates results for a wide variety of patient populations. Directs and acts as a resource to other members of the nursing team. Promotes compliance and support for policies and standards. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, and be able to work within a busy team environment. • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.

• RN license issued by the State of California.

• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.

• NRP certification.

• Minimum one (1) year of Postpartum RN experience.

• BSN.
• Two (2+) or more years RN experience in Postpartum.
• RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Previous Charge RN, leadership and unit committee experience.
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.
• Regional Perinatal Maternal Newborn Nursing Course completion.

• Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
