The University of La Verne invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in psychology to begin in fall 2020.Specific Duties

The position will require teaching a full course load (3 courses each semester) in the undergraduate psychology program, scholarship in the applicant’s respective field, and service to the department, college, and university.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications for the undergraduate position includes a doctoral degree in psychology. Applicants with the following specialties are encouraged to apply: child, cognitive, developmental, evaluation/measurement, experimental, forensic, health, learning/behavior, personality, quantitative, or social. We particularly welcome candidates who have an interest in teaching undergraduate courses in Statistics, Research Methods, and Experimental Psychology.

There is an expectation of quality teaching and scholarship in a comprehensive liberal arts university with a commitment to multiculturalism and a very diverse student body. Members from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
