Reporting to the Director of Player Personnel, the primary responsibilities of this position include: identify prospects for defensive assistant coaches to evaluate and assist with evaluation workflow; oversee creation of evaluation tapes for prospects and coordinate recruiting assignments and travel for defensive position coaches; management of data input into JumpForward database and XOS for recruiting and compliance purposes; conduct research, analysis and reports information on all prospects to coaches; and coordinates relevant functions that require access to information on potential student-athletes; provide assistance with recruiting activities and other football program functions, as permitted by NCAA rules and policies governing non-coaching staff members. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified students. Encourage and promote excellence in academics, athletics, and life-skills to student athletes. Abide by all UNC, ACC, and NCAA regulations.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. All degrees must be from fully accredited institutions.

Qualifications and Experience

1-3 years working in intercollegiate football environment required. Prefer experience in video analysis breakdown and reporting for intercollegiate football, as well as experience working in an FBS intercollegiate office. Computer and video system literacy and expertise, in particular with XOS and DVSport, Microsoft Office, JumpForward or similar database. Technical football knowledge and basic knowledge of the evaluation process and ability to identify prospect talent. Effective organizational and interpersonal communications skills.
