The Department of Psychological Science at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire Part-Time Lecturers to teach in its Bachelors and Masters Psychology programs. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the program beginning Fall 2019. Assignment of teaching can be made to the Edinburg or Brownsville campus depending on the needs of the Department.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualifications to be considered as a part-time lecturer are quality teaching experiences and a master’s degree in Psychology or a related field of study from an accredited institution with at least 18 graduate hours in Psychology.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

Teaching at the graduate level requires a doctoral degree and/or graduate faculty status.

Preferred Qualification

Teaching experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
