Photography Lab Coordinator (PT)
Part-time Support Staff
Sugar Grove Campus

Reporting tothe Dean for Communications, Humanities and Arts, this position supportsthe photography program in the Art department.

Help maintain calibration of computers and printers in digital lab.

Maintain lab area in a clean and safe manner.

Organize inventory and assist in the ordering of lab supplies and chemicals for photography classes.

Photograph art exhibitions and student artwork.

Recommend to the Dean hardware and software upgrades to meet industry standards.

Assist in the maintenance and basic repair of photo lab equipment.

Check out photo equipment to students as needed.

Conduct lab orientation for new adjunct faculty and students.

During lab hours, assist students with hardware and software issues. Refer students to faculty for content information.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in photography, or closely related field required.

One year of work experience in a photo lab environment required.

Ability to handle traditional and digital photo equipment.

Ability to handle details and work independently.

Flexibility in scheduling of work hours required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and manipulate 35 pounds.
