Assists Program Coordinator in the management and development of work-flows for multiple application systems, both internal and external, for various application types (such as freshman, transfer, graduate, non-degree seeking, transient, and readmission applications) for the Office of Admissions. Responsible for analyzing data regarding the different application systems. Provides administrative support for the Application Management section of the Office of Admissions by aiding in troubleshooting errors specific to the various application systems. Reconciles data to improve user experience with the different application systems.

Responsible for running daily reports to reconcile application data for various application types (such as freshman, transfer, graduate, non-degree seeking, transient, and readmission applications) for the Office of Admissions. Assist in the management of the work-flow within all application systems to ensure applications, test scores and school records are consolidated in a single profile, in order to verify application data. Load and link transcript information on a daily basis. Ensures that the admission processing functions are in compliance with established University and Board of Governors procedures and policies. Completes application audits for the Application Management section of the Office of Admissions. Identifies and resolves duplicate applications for all admit types; contacts students for corrective action on application information.

Acts as liaison for University Special Programs, including but not limited to Music, Dance, Theatre, Studio Art, and Film. Provides administrative support to the Program Coordinator regarding internal and external college application portals (post application submission). Provides guidance to applicants, parents, high school/college counselors and University personnel regarding admission applications and counsels individuals regarding the application process. Coordinates with other areas of the department to develop reports, analyze and reconcile data (queries run daily) to maximize user experience and identify potential errors specific to the internal and external college application systems.

Reviews and evaluates policies and procedures to Program Coordinator regarding the application management functions of the various college application systems (Slate, Coalition and Common Applications). Provides support and information to the Program Coordinator in discussions and testing with information technology services regarding changes to the student information system and the functionality of admissions' applications. Completes statistical data and analysis of application data for Board of Governors reporting to include end date, degree date, self reported information.
Participates in special events hosted by the Office of Admissions & Records such as Preview and counselor workshops. Assists other sections during peak times in support of the goals of the Office of Admissions & Records.Qualifications A Bachelor's degree and one year of experience, or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years. Experience should be relevant and related to the responsibilities of the job.

Ability to prioritize and organize multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook or comparable software.

Candidates should have the ability to review, analyze, formulate, and organize data and information and follow through on assignments.
