The Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University is seeking exceptional applicants for Part-Time Associate Professor -Clinical Psychology a core faculty position within our Clinical Psychology doctoral (Psy.D.) program. Successful candidates will join a diverse and cohesive faculty of outstanding practitioner-scholars who share a commitment and passion in working with diverse and marginalized populations.

Ideal applicants will be licensed clinical psychologists with the ability to teach the required doctorate-level courses in the following primary area:

  • Psychological Assessment (e.g., cognitive assessment, objective personality assessment, projective personality assessment, integrative assessment, and psychopathology)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


In addition to teaching within their area of expertise, core faculty will engage in academic advising, supervise student research, participate in scholarly pursuits, and hold active membership in departmental and campus-wide governance committees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • PhD/PsyD from an APA-accredited program

  • License-eligibility in Florida

  • Passion for teaching and experience in graduate clinical education and training

  • Graduate and post-graduate experience working with diverse client populations

  • On-going participation in scholarly and professional activities relevant to one’s areas of expertise

  • Professional experience in APA-accredited practitioner-scholar programs would be a plus
