Position SummaryOur AAAHC accredited organization serves the Washington Square and Brooklyn locations and acts as a hub for health and wellness activities around the globe for students attending NYU at one of our many study away sites. With over 200 employees dedicated to providing high-quality, student-centered healthcare, NYU has been a leader in nationally recognized continuous quality improvement efforts and for providing fully integrated healthcare to our students. Provide high quality patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics, policies and procedures of the Student Health Center. Oversee adherence to patients’ rights and responsibilities.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's degree in Nursing and NYS Nurse Practitioner license in appropriate specialty with prescription privileges.Required Experience:4 years' relevant experience in ambulatory setting including 2 years as an adult or family Nurse Practitioner or an equivalent combination.Preferred Experience:Student health experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
