Data Analysis Coordinator - IWU-National & Global

Position Summary:

The Data Analysis Coordinator is responsible for developing robust data analytics tools to address policy questions, operations-based inquiries and strategic initiatives using complex data from internal and external sources.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to the Executive Director, Faculty Services & Compliance

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree with quantitative coursework preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Using research and data to evaluate programs, services, and policies;
    Making recommendations based on research findings
    Creating reports, dashboards, visualizations, and presentations to share analyses with a diverse group of both technical and non-technical audiences;
    Supporting the development and coordination of National & Global surveys; analyzing and sharing survey responses with campus audiences;
    Retrieving and manipulating data for ad hoc requests from decision-makers;
    Compiling data from multiple data sources and preparing reports in support of external compliance submissions, academic program reviews, accreditation, and strategic initiatives

    Five years of experience in higher education research, data analysis, or a similar area
    Proven ability to extract meaningful insights from large, complex data sets
    Technical proficiency with database applications and familiarity with related query languages
    Knowledge of statistics and visualization tools such as SPSS, Power BI and Tableau preferred
    Must possess deep knowledge of statistical processes and data modeling techniques
