DescriptionThe Fletcher School is the United States’ first professional graduate school of international affairs. The Office of the Registrar and Student Academic Programs is a multi-functioning office. Routine registrar type activities take place in this office (e.g. keeper of student files/records; course scheduling, enrollment in courses, processing degree and enrollment verifications, etc.). The office also serves as the home for the International Student Advisor. The professional staff spend the majority of their time advising and working with students to help ensure that they meet their academic & professional goals while at the same time meeting degree requirements. It is generally a busy office with a large amount of faculty and student contact.

Provides advanced support and coordination for a university Program or Project. Produces a variety of documents, reports and proposals, responds to inquiries and provides detailed information to constituents. Organizes and maintains files and databases; designs and updates applications or other forms for data entry. May assist in updating website and posting social media material. Participates in development of program or project marketing and communications materials, coordinates logistics for meetings and events including travel and arrangements for speakers, provides research assistance, and monitors budgets.


QualificationsBasic Requirements:
  • High School diploma and 5+ years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 0-3 years of related office experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of or experience in subject matter preferred.

Special Work Schedule Requirements:
May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends to support school events, specifically commencement weekend (both Saturday and Sunday). This position is subject to frequent interruptions and a large volume of contact with customers (via e-mail, in person, and by telephone) and one must be able to handle concurrent tasks.
