Position Summary:
Office of Registrar. The Curriculum/Publication Specialist provides leadership, confidentiality and organizational support in fostering a productive academic culture through the direction management of the University's CourseLeaf Catalog (CAT) and Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) software.

Essential Functions

  • Administers all facets of the academic catalog including ensuring consistency of catalog and policies.
  • Manages the University's electronic CourseLeaf Catalog (CAT) and Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system.
  • Creates and maintains coding in the Student Information System (Banner) as new programs are approved by the Faculty Senate.
  • Administers the University's course revision and approval process and ensures course information is maintained accurately in the academic catalog.
  • Serves as the bridge between the catalog/curriculum vendor and the University's IT Department for problem-solving, testing and software upgrades.
  • Communicates with academic units regarding all matters specific to University course and program curriculum.
  • Collaborates with academic departments to provide guidance on catalog process.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment

    Preferred Education:
    Master’s Degree

    Preferred Experience::
    Experience with Banner, R25/25Live, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), ApplicationXtender, Wordpress and Courseleaf.

    Salary Range: $36,500
