Seeking an adjunct instructor for a weekend section in Environmental Science/Lab. This course covers an introduction to the physical and biological systems of the natural environment, and the impacts of human society on these systems. This course provides an overview of environmental science topics through a combination of lecture, class discussion, and laboratory activities to develop critical thinking and formal report writing skills.
- Masters' degree in Environmental Science or related field; Ph.D. preferred
- Strong laboratory skills required; GIS skills preferred
- College-level teaching experience required; community college teaching experience preferred
- Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE INVITED TO ATTEND THE ADJUNCT ACADEMY PRIOR TO BEING ASSIGNED COURSES.
Salary: $1,066.00 per credit hour
