Job Description:

Adjunct Instructors Needed for Summer 2019 and Fall 2019 Semesters in Visual Media Arts Department

The Visual and Media Arts (VMA) Program offers associate degrees in Integrated Media Design, Studio Arts and Visual Design. Students in the VMA Department leave BHCC with skills needed to be successful transferring to four-year colleges and to work in the field. VMA provides an integrated learning environment where students can learn drawing, painting, 2D, 3D, graphic design, motion graphics, multimedia, audio, html, interactive design, photography and social media strategy.

We are looking for instructors in all areas of the VMA Department. Courses are offered days, evenings and weekends.

  • Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience, Masters preferred
  • Community College teaching experience preferred
  • Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student population
  • Submission of portfolio with application (excluding those applying for Art History or Intro to Mass Media)

Salary: $1,104.00 per credit hour
