Position Description:
Under supervision of the Computing Resource Manager in Biology Administration (formally LSSA), the Programmer/Analyst II will enhance, install, modify, document, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade new and existing departmental administrative, research, and instructional computing resources for Windows, Macintosh, and Unix/Linux environments. Install hardware, software, and serve as a liaison to Life Sciences Computing (LSC), Life Sciences Network (LSNet), and campus-wide computing resources for the following departments and groups: Biology Administration (BioAdmin), Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB), Integrative Biology and Physiology (IBP), Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology (MCDB), Life Sciences Core Curriculum, Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden, the Stunt Ranch, Neuroscience, MCIP, Computational Systems and Biology, Biomedical Research Minor and all departments under the 5 departmental groups. The departmental groups are now divided into Biology Group, Physiology Group, LS Core Group, BioAdmin Group, and MCDB Group.
