Position Description:
Independently responsible for all undergraduate affairs in the Computer Science Department. The Student Affairs Officer (SAO) oversees several programs for students and student groups, including Orientation, Commencement, curriculum planning and study abroad programs. The SAO plays an integral role in the school's academic program, with respect to communications with new and continuing students regarding academic support. In addition, candidate will be responsible for keeping information related to students services up-to-date on the school's website and will be involved in selecting and communicating with departmental scholarship recipients. Responsible for scheduling and textbook ordering. Responsible for working with Vice Chair on Lecture appointments, renewals, promotions, and maintaining the courses data base. Candidate will coordinate the teaching evaluation process each quarter.
