Adjunct Faculty-English Studies, First-Year Writing
Lewis University seeks to adjunct faculty to teach classes in the Department of English Studies, on an as needed basis. The Department is seeking a specialist in Rhetoric-Composition. Focused on experiential learning, and active engagement, adjuncts chosen to teach at Lewis will create a charismatic and professional learning environment for students of diverse learning backgrounds.
- Teach one or more classes in the First-Year Writing Program
- Actively participate in First-Year Writing professional development
- Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary
- Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.

Masters degree in Rhetoric-Composition and experience in teaching a range of college writing courses from a process approach supported with digital composing technologies. Excellent communication skills.
