Priority consideration will be given to candidates with a bachelors degree.

Position Summary

The Admissions Recruiter is an entry level position within the Office of Admissions. The Admissions Recruiter will manage a recruitment territory in Georgia and across the nation by actively traveling to high schools and two-year colleges to meet with counselors, parents, and prospective UGA students, coordinating alumni-admission functions, attending college fairs, and maintaining regular contact with prospects, applicants and counselors.

Conduct dynamic presentations and effectively answer questions about admission and application processes; provide admission counseling and information sessions with visiting students and families, in person and in group settings as well as by telephone, correspondence, and e-mail; aid in public relations and general recruitment programs.

Assist with admissions application and scholarship processing and selection for first-year and transfer students; serve as departmental liaison with other offices and agencies of the University; perform related work assigned by supervisors.
