Job Details
SCAD seeks an enterprise application developer to create solutions for interesting academic and business needs in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you will work with a team of developers, system analysts, designers and other university staff to design and develop software that solves problems and makes life at SCAD better for students, faculty, staff and alumni. Our environment includes a mix of on premise and cloud based systems that provide a great opportunity to learn and show off your development skills.
Recent projects have included developing an application using AWS and Salesforce in the cloud, and an Oracle database on premise. We also are continuing to develop an award winning mobile app using Titanium and leveraging a Java/Grails on premise server and UrbanAirship in the cloud for notifications.
The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse client base in a fast paced and creative environment.
Development skills in Java, Servlets/JSP, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript are required as well as experience with Spring and/or Grails and mobile development in HTML, Titanium, Objective-C/Swift or Android.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in computer science or information systems
At least four years of relevant work experience
