Parking Enforcement Supervisor Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 201907244501 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $50,000 - $98,600 Position Information UC Riverside's Transportation and Parking Services is currently recruiting for the Parking Enforcement Supervisor. The Parking Enforcement Supervisor performs parking enforcement activities for campus parking facilities on and off the main campus by ensuring enforcement staff receive training, sets parking enforcement staff schedules, makes work assignments, and monitors staff activities and work performance. The Parking Enforcement Supervisor interprets parking rules and regulations, disseminates information to the field staff, and provides answer to questions. The Parking Enforcement Supervisor performs job duties in the field, providing assistance and leadership to the parking enforcement staff. The Parking Enforcement Supervisor also conducts periodic staff meetings, job training, and safety training sessions. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required
Licenses License Requirement Valid Driver License. Required
Certifications Certification Requirement Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP). Preferred Certified Parking Professional (CPP). Preferred
Experience Experience Requirement 4 - 7 years of related experience. Required Experience performing a similar role within a transportation environment and/or higher education. Preferred Previous supervisory/managerial experience. Preferred
Special Conditions Special Condition Requirement Must pass a background check. Required Hired candidate must successfully pass a background check through the DOJ and FBI prior to appointment start date. Required Occasional travel for business related meetings, professional development, conferences and/or events. Required Must operate University vehicles and carts for business and operational needs. Required Must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies. Required

Interpersonal skills to effectively motivate others to achieve goals. Develops and maintains rapport and professional relationships with assigned staff, peers, multidisciplinary team members, management.
Working knowledge of UC parking policies and procedures or equivalent experience in transportation, parking/events, public administration, mobility transportation or a combination of these.
Working knowledge of parking procedures and enforcement and ability to guide employees. Knowledge of resource management concepts and UC policies related to parking services.
Working skills to respond appropriately, efficiently and effectively to emergencies and critical situations.
Working knowledge and skills in applying and interpreting applicable local, state, and federal regulations and related standards, guidelines.
