Shared Services Analyst (multiple openings) Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 201908075061 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $45,300 - $89,400 Position Information R'Shared Service Center (R'SSC) is currently recruiting for multiple new Shared Services Analysts. The Shared Services Analyst ensures the timely and accurate review, preparation, processing, and auditing of payroll, time and attendance, personnel, workforce administration, onboarding, and financial transactions. The Shared Services Analyst ensures accurate data entry and oversight of information related to service requests, to minimize processing errors. The Shared Services Analyst utilizes data and analytics to complete audits, identifies trends in delayed/inaccurate processing and partners with the R'SSC Director, other R'SSC functional leads, clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities to continuously improve the effectiveness, accuracy and delivery of services. The Shared Services Analyst acts as a functional lead in resolving service requests and related transactions, and is resourceful in recommending solutions to support process improvement and the stabilization of those processes in the UCPath environment. The Shared Services Analyst extracts data and information from business applications to prepare reports concerning service requests and related transactions processed by the unit, to inform management's planning of work assignments and workflow. The Shared Services Analyst supports the development of standard operating procedures and data driven performance measurements. The Shared Services Analyst interacts with client partners and colleagues in UCR's Central Offices and the UCPath Center to resolve service escalation issues. The Shared Services Analyst may supervise temporary staff, and provides lead and training support in the unit and is the first point of contact for Shared Services Assistants (processors) for questions concerning processes and systems. The lead responsibilities will initially be aligned with four Analyst positions, however, alignment of duties is subject to change with operational demands and business needs. The areas of lead are anticipated to include: (1) Payroll and Workforce Administration; (2) Onboarding, Leave Administration Transactions and Workforce Administration; (3) Salary Cost Transfers and Workforce Administration; and (4) Business Processes and Workforce Administration. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with PeopleSoft or similar enterprise-wide automated payroll systems.
Experience working in a high volume, multi function shared services environment.
Experience using process improvement methods and tools.
