We are seeking a customer-focused individual to support the Nicolet Community (students, employees, and external stakeholders) through transformational customer service within the Nicolet College Welcome Center. This multi-faceted position will support enrollment team efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are typical for this position. Position may support or lead functions relative to the essential duties listed below. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
  • Serve as the first-point of contact for potential students, current students, and broader Nicolet Community via phone, email, in-person, and online chat.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests using independent judgment to fit situation or facts. Make referrals as appropriate.
  • Utilize customer relationship management systems (such as Salesforce and Pardot) to track essential contact information and interactions with potential students and applicants. Assist with communication to convert potential students and applicants to enrollees.
  • Provide comprehensive support to recruitment and retention activities, such as:
  • College Visit Events
  • Career Expo
  • Quick Start
  • Graduation
  • Competition Day
  • Heavy Metal tour
    • Assist in data compilation and analysis related to strategic enrollment management.
    • Serve the Nicolet Promise program by serving on the Promise team (or committee); provide Promise related data to team; determine workflow and deadlines with Director of Enrollment and Director of Financial Aid; serve as lead for communications with Promise inquiries and students; monitor student progress and eligibility.
    • Maintain FERPA required confidentiality for all college departments and any other related policies.
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes in the Welcome Center and College.
    • Create and maintain documentation for current processes and procedures within areas of responsibility, and share information with other team members as applicable.
    • Provide support and input related to the admissions processing. Communicate with applicants regarding next steps.
    • Support other college departments such as assessment, registrar, and career services as needed.
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Associate Degree.
    • Experience providing customer service in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
    • Able to use discretion when handling sensitive information and situations.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor Degree.
    • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures affecting admissions, advising, student registration, and records.
    • Experience using a variety of technologies to support strategic enrollment management including Salesforce, PowerCampus, ImageNow, and Microsoft Office.
    • Able to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Able to handle stressful situations in a polite and courteous manner.
    • Able to work independently and make sound independent decisions.

    • The employee must demonstrate strong attention to detail and must be able to perform complex tasks without error.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to normal office conditions and usual office equipment such as telephone, personal computer, printers/copiers, reports and files.
    • The employee will be constantly required to sit, talk, hear, and type/write.
    • The employee will be frequently required to stand, walk, touch/handle/grasp (using hands and fingers), and reach with hands and arms.
    • The employee must occasionally bend or squat and lift and/or push up to 25 pounds of general office items.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, far, and field of vision.
    • This position requires regular and punctual employee presence.

    Compensation:
    The full pay range is $19.70 to $26.01 per hour. The typical starting range is $19.70 to $21.28 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
