Position Summary
Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure track position in Organic Chemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August, 2020. Teaching duties will include Organic Chemistry and upper-level courses in the candidate's area of specialization. In addition, the opportunity exists to periodically teach non-majors courses, other Central Curriculum courses and supervise the Department's seminar program.

Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong evidence for the potential to provide excellence in undergraduate teaching, advising and mentoring. Service expectations include participation in departmental activities, student recruiting and retention, and membership on University committees. An active research program involving undergraduate students in any area of Organic Chemistry is expected.

Preferred Qualifications
College-level teaching experience and postdoctoral research experience are strongly preferred.
