The University of Kentucky College of Health Sciences Office of Technology Services (OTS) is seeking a student Information Technology Support Technician who is comfortable handling different computer devices and peripherals, and can learn to take basic steps to troubleshoot issues. The Technology Support Services team member will work closely with the OTS team to repair computing devices, help manage and organize inventory, log new help desk tickets for walk-ins, and manage shipments. On high ticket volume days it is expected there will be a point where the team member could help close tickets. Good customer service skills are paramount. Most important, the new team member must be willing to learn new skills related to information technology.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
