Collaborate with the Information Technology team and College Communications to maintain Ithaca College’s website. Participate in requirements gathering and technical design. Build test plans and participate in peer code review process. Promote a flexible, collaborative and inclusive work and living environment.

Position/Job Responsibilities

1. Participate in requirements gathering, software architecture planning, implementation, and maintenance.

2. Build testing strategies and plans based on requirements and system design details.

3. Design user experiences with clear navigation, usability, and accessibility. Follow visual design standards established by College Communications.

4. Develop and demonstrate a multicultural awareness and help cultivate an inclusive, diverse and respectful College community.

5. Maintain high proficiency in developing software for security, usability, and efficiency.

Position/Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience; highly skilled in at least one of PHP, Python, C++, or Java; knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and relational databases; and ability to work respectfully within a diverse environment. Experience in Drupal or comparable content management system.
