Position: Assistant Professor of Reading Education PK-6 (Tenure-Track)

Minimum Qualifications:
•Earned Doctorate in reading education, an emphasis in reading/literacy education within early childhood education, elementary/middle grades education, or curriculum and instruction
•Minimum 2 years full-time classroom teaching experience in pre-K to 8
•Evidence of scholarly publications in reading/literacy education
•Ability to teach courses in reading methods pre-K to 8
•Ability to integrate technology into instruction

Preferred Requirements
•Experience and expertise in emergent reading/content area literacy
•Experience in grant writing
•Ability to teach with an inclusive perspective
•Experience with mixed methods research design
•Experience working in collaborative settings
