Job SummaryAssist faculty or other instructional staff by performing teaching or teaching-related duties, such as developing teaching materials, preparing and giving examinations, and grading examinations or papers.Job Responsibilities01. Evaluate and grade examinations, assignments, or papers and record grades., 02. Lead discussion sections, tutorials, or laboratory sections., 03. Develop teaching materials, such as syllabi, visual aids, answer keys, supplementary notes, or course Web sites., 04. Inform students of the procedures for completing and submitting class work, such as lab reports., 05. Return assignments to students in accordance with established deadlines., 06. Performs other duites as assigned.Job Details
Tutors should have experience in college algebra, trigonometry, and statistics (BYUH course numbers 110, 111, 121). Experience in calculus is a plus. Hours are flexible, tutors may request their assignment to be from 10-18 hours per week. 18 hours are not guaranteed.
