Position Description:
The UCLA Anderson Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) Program is a premiere part-time MBA program. FEMBA is Anderson's largest, highest-ranked MBA program, and a vital component of the school's mission of educating business leaders.

Under the leadership and reporting to the Assistant Dean and Director of Admissions, incumbent serves as a senior admissions officer to recruit, evaluate and yield 300+ students annually from a pool of 600-800 applications.

RECRUTING involves representing UCLA on-campus as well as traveling around the nation. To fulfill directives of the Dean of Anderson, special responsibilities include recruiting qualified women and underrepresented minorities in order to increase diversity of the student body, and expanded travel to recruit the "FEMBA Flex" section, which will include an online hybrid schedule. Incumbent develops, organizes and implements marketing strategies including receptions, forums/fairs, class visits, student ambassadors, and new initiatives such as Coffees, Admissions 101 events, etc.

EVALUATING responsibilities include being a full admission committee reader, and executing the new "switcher" process of reviewing, recruiting and yielding applicants from the MBA applicant pool, prospects, students and alumni. Conducts interviews and evaluates essays of applicants to the full-time MBA who are being considered for FEMBA.

YIELD MANAGEMENT responsibilities include waitlist and deny feedback, as well as counseling of admitted students. Responsible for budget management as it pertains to recruitment and yield activities. Day-to-day office management along with recruitment, training and evaluation of student workers, staff and volunteers are key aspects of this position. Incumbent oversees a $80,000 budget to host FEMBApalooza, the largest annual event hosted by FEMBA Admissions.
