This is a full-time, benefits eligible, at will position. This position is designated exempt under FLSA and not eligible for overtime compensation. Standard SDSU work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but may vary based on operational needs.

The Program Manager, Main Campus reports to the Director of Construction, Main Campus and is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the professional, technical and administrative staff of the department's Main Campus team, who are charged with managing the Campus's capital improvement projects from conception through construction.

Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $10,417 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,726 - $13,150 per month. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field and seven years of progressively responsible full-time work experience in a related field.
• Previous higher education or institutional project management experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Specialized Skills

• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certificate.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
• Professional Architecture license (RA, AIA) or Professional Engineer license (PE)
