This is a year-round (12-month) tenure track position with initial appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience. UMHB seeks faculty who are active Christians and dedicated teacher-scholars to prepare students for leadership, service, and faith-informed discernment in a global society.\r\n\r\nThe UMHB Physician Assistant Program is currently in Applicant Status and will be eligible for Provision Accreditation in the fall of 2020. This position will be responsible for ongoing development of didactic and clinical coursework and working with the Program Director and the faculty team to ensure compliance with all curricular content-related to the ARC-PA standards in preparation for future and continual accreditation.\r\n\r\nUMHB is conveniently located in Belton, an historic town of over 20,000 in the heart of central Texas. Excellent schools, abundant cultural and recreational opportunities, and a high quality of life are hallmarks of the local community.\r\n\r\nFaculty Responsibilities:   Activities required of all graduate faculty include exemplary teaching; curriculum development; curriculum and program evaluation; student advising; professional attainment; and service to department, college, university, and the community.\r\n\r\nSpecific Responsibilities:  This position includes ongoing didactic and clinical curricular development and evaluation; teaching physician assistant graduate courses and labs; advising and mentoring physician assistant students; participation in initial and continual accreditation; involvement in the program's admission process; and participating in departmental and university committees.\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications: \r\n\r\n\r\n
