Position Summary:
Enrollment Services. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Services oversees a team of service representatives (Full-Time Employees and Student Assistants) and the day-to-day operations of the University's Enrollment Services call center, a first-stop call center for students on admissions, financial aid, student account, and registration-related concerns and general university inquiries.

Essential Functions

  • Initially, works with Director and leadership team to create the new department, developing a staffing model, training protocol, knowledge base, and service standards.
  • With departmental leadership, designs and implements cross functional training, resources, and processes to build a strong, innovative student services team with ongoing staff development and performance management.
  • Leads a team focused on efficiency and client satisfaction, providing quality information utilizing knowledge of university policies and procedures, guiding and redirecting callers to appropriate resources, departments and/or staff members, suggesting options or alternate solutions for resolution.
  • Assesses student needs to ensure adequate services available through the call center.
  • Monitors metrics of service to ensure efficient and timely service to callers, with regular reports on trends of service and delivery.
  • Monitors calls for quality control and consistent service and delivery of information.
  • Ensures compliance of FERPA and other privacy and security protocols dealing with student educational records within department.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment

    Preferred Education:
    Master’s Degree

    Preferred Experience::
    Five or more years of related work experience; experience working in an integrated enrollment services center; experience at a multi-campus institution; knowledge of Banner student information system; demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience; experience working with a call center; experience with enrollment management or related functional areas

    Salary Range: $44,400 - $56,600
