Enterprise Infrastructure. The Systems Administrator serves as an administrator for complex systems software development and service deployment projects and provides technical support in developing, maintaining, installing, and using operating systems, subsystems, and/or line-of-business applications.
Essential Functions
•Collaborates with other Systems Administrators to perform the installation and maintenance of both critical and non-critical applications.
•Assists with developing custom scripts to aid in the automation of tasks.
•Assists with maintaining the operation of all line-of-business applications and integrations.
•Works closely with IT Business Analysts in the support of their respective departments. Coordinates with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure compliance on all security and regulatory mandates including PCI, HIPAA, FERPA, and the USG IT Handbook.
•Assists with maintaining and testing regular backups of all line-of-business applications.
•Acts as the first line of response to requests for various hardware, software, peripheral, and networking technical assistance.
•Installs, upgrades, configures, and troubleshoots computing and communication devices and peripherals.
