Job Details
Excel in teaching computer science and information systems topics at the baccalaureate and graduate levels. Pursue scholarly research. Assist with curriculum development. Engage and motivate students. Participate in department, college, and university service duties as assigned.
Minimum Education RequirementsPh.D. in Computer Science or related field. ABDs with an assured completion before June 2020 will also be considered.
Minimum Experience and Skill RequirementsProgramming competency in modern object-oriented programming languages. Database Management Systems – both relational and non-relational. Strong communication skills. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to adapt to new teaching formats (e.g. Web or Interactive TV, etc.).
Preferred Education and/or Experience QualificationsExperience teaching introductory undergraduate classes, managerially-oriented graduate classes as well as advanced topics for technically-oriented students.
