The Hourly Instruction Librarian (HIL) position is a Service-Learning Apprentice program.2. Extensive paid pedagogy training is provided and HILs gain valuable classroom instruction experience.3. Hourly Instruction Librarians also provide information literacy and library instruction services to students in a classroom setting using ACC LS created content.
4. Hourly Librarian schedules are determined and may vary weekly but may not exceed more than 19 hours/week district-wide.Description of Duties and TasksEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
ACC does not participate in Social Security. ACC participates in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) and the Optional Retirement Program (ORP-Faculty Only).
