About the PositionThe MPH Administrative Coordinator devotes one hundred percent support to the entire operations of the Master of Public Health (MPH) program with campus and online curriculum, including administrative support, HR support, financial and budget-related, event planning and execution, and communications and promotion of the program. The incumbent will report to the MPH coordinator who then reports to the Department Chair who oversees the MPH operations.
Required Qualifications-Completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents.
-Two years of related office work experience.
Preferred Qualifications-Experience handling large, complex budgets.
-Experience in a fast-paced office with competing priorities.
-Experience as project manager/lead.
-Experience with budget planning, analysis, reconciliation, and projections.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-Working knowledge of Human Resources principles and concepts and the ability to apply them.
-Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures and practices.
-Ability to take initiative, make independent decisions, and exercise sound judgment, while planning, organizing, and implementing multiple work priorities.
-Ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent English grammar, business writing, punctuation and spelling.
-Ability to compose and appropriately format correspondence and reports.
-Proficient in PC compatible software programs, e.g., word, excel, power point.
