The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is charged with providing an equitable opportunity for every applicant to obtain admission to the University. Responsibilities
OVERVIEW:
This position was an outcome of the Chancellor's Task Force on Academics and Athletics report recommendations (dated September 26, 2014) and is dedicated as an athletics/admissions liaison. The position plays a key role in developing and coordinating a comprehensive recruitment and admission program for student athletes. Incumbent develops and executes a recruitment strategy that supports the mission and objectives of the University and assesses the effectiveness of the program and serves as an expert in the office for athletic admissions issues. This position serves as the (undergraduate) Athletics Admissions Specialist. Involves developing and implementing programs for athletic student admissions for the Berkeley campus and/or school/college/department within appropriate constituents and communities; and educating the public about admissions requirements, the athletic admission policy, and processes.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Hiring range is $70,000 - $90,000
