The Fall 2019 semester begins on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Bay State College is a private career-focused college founded in 1946 in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. Currently, we are seeking applicants for the position an Adjunct Faculty, Accounting are required to maintain 1-hour week office hours for every course section taught.
Essential Job Functions:
- Teach one section of ACC 100, Financial Accounting I, MW 1:40-2:55.
- Teach one section of ACC 110, Financial Accounting II, TR 3:05-4:20.
- Hold one office hour per week.
- Attend a new faculty orientation and departmental meetings as required.
- Post attendance after each class meeting, evaluate student work, and provide timely feedback.
General Education & Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Have successful experience in post-secondary instruction.
- Be experienced in working with a diverse student body.
Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisor responsibility
Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Stooping. Bending body downward and forward.
Working Conditions: Normal office/classroom conditions. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evening, overnight, and weekend hours.
