The Department of Management at Clemson University invites applications for a Tenure Track Position Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship to begin in Fall 2020.

About the Department

The Department of Management is a comprehensive academic unit within the College of Business, with 32 full-time tenured, tenure-track, and instructional faculty. The expertise and research interests of the group span and regularly integrate the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, organizational behavior, strategic management, international business, business ethics, human resource management, supply chain management, operations management, the management of information systems, and data analytics.

The Department offers an undergraduate degree, a Master of Science degree in management, and a Ph.D. in management. Management faculty members also teach in the College’s M.B.A. program.

Management faculty have recently published in top-tier journals including AMR, JOM, ASQ, AMJ, JMS, OS, JBV, ETP, SMJ, AMD, JAP, OBHDP, MS, MISQ, OR, and POM, as well as many others. Qualifications:

Candidates must expect to hold a doctorate in management or a closely-related field by August 2020. Advanced assistant professors with strong scholarship records are highly encouraged to apply. Consistent with Clemson University’s goal of Top 20 public university status, we seek candidates with a record of high quality research, or who demonstrate an emerging stream of research that holds promise for publication in leading academic journals. We are especially interested in individuals who value and have strong records of collegiality and whose research would complement the interests of our existing faculty. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to teach entrepreneurship at a level consistent with Clemson’s high standards. Compensation will be competitive.
